A passionate instructor in Basic Sciences for undergraduate students in the medical field (Pharmacy, Dentistry& Nursing) aiming to provide them with the required skills to excel in their careers and to be lifelong motivated self-learners. Committed to offering an encouraging and student-centered learning environment based on interaction and positive energy. Experienced in laboratory work design and in implementing laboratory safety precautions and keeping students' records. A community pharmacist with more than8 years of experience, devoted to offering medical care for patients and increasing public awareness about the proper use of medications, and providing counseling on all health-related issues. A highly organized individual with strong interpersonal and time-management skills. I can communicate effectively with students and colleagues in teamwork. I keep myself updated with the current technologies and latest teaching methods.

After I gained my B.S degree in Pharmacy with Honor, I was assigned as a part-time Lab instructor for undergraduate students in basic sciences (General Botany and Analytical chemistry). In parallel, I enrolled in graduate studies to pursue a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences/specialty Microbiology, and after I finished the general courses in the program I was selected to be a lab instructor in Microbiology and Immunology courses for students in the faculties of Pharmacy, Dentistry, and Medicine. In these courses, we teach students the basic skills for bacterial identification (Microscopic examination using different staining techniques, Isolation and cultivation of bacteria on different culture media and under suitable incubation conditions, Biochemical reactions and API system, Anti-microbial sensitivity methods, Immunological techniques like Agglutination reactions & ELISA. Also Sterilization methods and Molecular techniques like Polymerase chain reaction). In addition to the study of Fungi (yeast and molds) regarding their microscopic identification and cultivation methods.

Following my belief that learning is a continuous process in life and that being an instructor holding the responsibility of educating students requires a deep understanding of the learning theories as well as the different learning profiles of students to choose the best instructional practices to achieve the intended learning outcomes, I was motivated me to enroll in the TD program to enrich my experience with a solid basis in the science and art of teaching.
