I'm an experienced Civil Engineer with more than 19 years of remarkable experience in the construction industry (16 years in the Gulf Region) specializing in construction management, site supervision and inspection, and QA/QC works.  I have vast experience in working with high and medium-rise building projects, FIFA stadiums, and sports complex, entertainment buildings, waste-water treatment plant, waterparks, and Public Parks refurbishment. A registered MMUP/UPDA Engineer in Doha, Qatar.

1.AL Madar Property Management W.L.L. - Civil Engineer (September 2022 – October 28, 2023)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Review of all civil and structural submittals that include but are not limited to design drawings, shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, prequalification submittals, 3rd party laboratory test reports, etc…
• Respond to the Contractor’s Request for Information (RFI) regarding Civil & Structural technical queries.
• Lead and direct civil and structural inspectors and provide technical recommendations to construction issues in the project.
• Conduct regular site walkthroughs with contractors and subcontractors to verify compliance of works to approved drawings and HSE standards.
• Take the lead in the weekly progress & technical meeting with contractors and subcontractors, and review & update meeting minutes for top management & owner reports.
• Continuous monitoring and tracking of project schedule and ensuring works and progress are within the approved timeline, cost, and highest quality standards.
• Review and recommend approval for payment of the contractor’s monthly progress billing.

2.Erga Qatar - Senior Civil Engineer (Aug. 2021 - March 2022)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the review of all civil and structural technical submittals that include but are not limited to shop drawings, structural calculations, method statements, material submittals, Prequalification submittals, and 3rd Party Laboratory Test Reports.  
• Collaborate and interact with all other disciplines in the project to ensure proper work interface and timely completion submittal’s review. Lead and direct Civil and Structural Inspectors and provide technical recommendations to construction issues in the projects. 
• Participate in the weekly technical & progress meetings with client, contractor & sub-contractors. 
• Review all civil/structural inspection requests commented by inspectors and provide additional input prior to issuance to Contractor. 
• Assist in the review of the contractor’s monthly progress billing. Assist inspectors in the preparation and issuance of Non-Conformance Report and Site Observation Report for any works not in accordance with the project standards.

3. Albaker Architects - Senior Civil Engineer (April 2019 - Aug 2021)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the review of all civil and structural technical submittals that include but are not limited to shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and Prequalification submittals. 
• Collaborate and interact with all other disciplines in the project to ensure proper work interface and timely completion submittal’s review. Lead and direct Civil and Structural Inspectors and provide technical recommendations to construction issues in the project.

4. Louis Berger - Civil Engineer (October 2017 - April 2019)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the review of shop drawings, method statements and material submittals related to civil and structural. 
• Inspection of all related civil works and structural works such as concreting, rebar installation, structural steel works, waterproofing installation, formworks installation and temporary works at site. 
• Inspection of all material deliveries to site related to civil and structural and ensure delivered materials conforms to the approved materials in the project. 
• Monitor daily site activities and report any works not conforming with the approved shop drawings and project specifications through issuance of Non-Compliance Report. 
• Evaluate corrective actions submitted by the Contractor. Prepare daily logs reports and maintain records of inspections made, concrete works and sampling and other significant activities at site.

5. KEO International Consultants (Dec 2010 - Sept 2017)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the review of shop drawings, method statements and material submittals related to civil and structural. Responsible for the inspection of all civil and structural works of the project. 
• Assist in the architectural inspections. Monitor and supervise all civil and structural activities in a daily basis, ensuring adherence of all works to approved shop drawings, project specifications and Qatar Construction Standards. 
• Coordinate with the different disciplines to ensure proper work interface and timely completion of shop drawings checking and approval. 
• Prepare daily logs reports and maintain records of inspections made, concrete works and sampling and other significant activities at site. 
• Conduct inspection and examine materials delivered to site for installation and verify conformance to specifications and submittals. 
• Prepare and issue Non-Conformance Report (NCR) for any works being done or having completed not in accordance with the approved shop drawings.

6. Hydroturf International LLC - Civil Engineer (Aug 2007 - October 2017)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for monitoring daily site activities and end ensures all on-going works are being executed in accordance with the approved method statement and shop drawings. 
• Regularly check all works at site and ensure all required inspections as per approved Inspection test plan (ITP) are submitted to Consultant. 
• Prepare all QA/QC related document submittals like method statements, material submittals and pre-qualifications of the project. 
• Maintain records and photos of all site activities like concreting, removal of forms, curing and testing of concrete samples. 
• Check all materials delivered to site and make sure the materials are in very good quality and consistent to approved material submittals. 
• Check all works and ensure ready for inspection prior to submitting inspection to Consultant. Provide technical support for any construction issues that arises in the project.

7. MG Exeo Network, Inc. - Project Engineer (April 2003 - Aug 2007)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall project implementation & supervision from civil works to tower erection. Provide technical advice to sub-contractor for any construction issues that arises at site. 
• Assist in evaluating sub-contractor’s claims and billings in a monthly basis. 
• Inspect and monitor sub-contractors works on a daily basis and report directly to client. 
• Check quality of works and ensure that the works done are to the highest quality and workmanship.Review and approve method statement of sub-contractor prior to commencing works at site. 
• Review and approve As-Built drawings of the project and submit to client. 
• Attend/witness testing of samples such as concrete cylinders, reinforcing bars and other construction materials used at site and ensure all results conforms to the requirements in the approved shop drawings and project specifications.  
• Prepare and update construction schedule of the project and ensure that all deadlines are meet on schedule. 
• Attend hand-over inspection and snagging of sub-contractor’s work. 
• Assist in the post permits acquisition of the project after completion.
