My responsibilities were estimation (manhours and resources) and costing of Turn Around Shutdown works, shutdown planning using Primavera P6, preparation of work package for all equipment- Battery limit, vessels, tanks, exchangers, fin fan coolers, columns, spears, furnaces, boilers, reactors, skid packages, pumps, valves etc.  Area coordinating during TA/ Shutdown at sites, Monitoring and controlling of shutdown works, I was the in charge for estimating, pricing, negotiating and invoicing the additional works during shutdown.

Our works were located in Qatar, Oman and UAE. We worked as JV/ subcontractor for the major TA Shutdown works. I was involved in many estimations works for shutdowns and executed 3 major shutdowns- QP Refinery Shutdown (Phase 2) at Qatar, ORPIC Sohar Refinery Shutdown at Oman, ENOC EPCL Refinery Shutdown at Dubai. I was also being part to coordinate many technical manpower supply contracts.

I was assigned to supervise the erection of steel structures of steel plant construction. My duties including identification of steel parts from drawing, finding and marking at laydown yard, arrangements for blasting and painting, arrangements for lifting, installation supervision, coordination with QAQC team for inspection and completion. 

The construction site is located at Hazira, Surat, India. It is one of the largest steel production plants under Essar Steel.
