Dispatch the Power generating units to buyer demands and comply with Power Purchase regulations 
as well as to make necessary communications. 
 Monitor process parameters, respond to Process alarms, warnings and events in DCS and initiate 
corrective action. 
 Carry out start-up and shut-down operation of the Gas Turbine / HRSG/STG and associated 
equipment’s following approved procedures and operating instructions. 
 Follow instructions of Shift Controller to carry out routine duties proficiently and safely. 
 Check the plant healthiness and report the abnormal conditions to shift controller. 
 Raising defect notifications of alarms and abnormalities in SAP software to concern departments and 
keeps follow-up. 
 Making daily, weekly & monthly reports & follow up operation issues. 
 Assisting Shift controller in the preparation of work permits TTR, IRF for maintenance activities. 
 Isolating equipment for Lockout/ Tag out as directed. 
 Sign work permits & follow up with associated department. 
 Reviews existing Operating Procedures and develops additional ones if required. 
 Being a part of team achieving KPI’s. 
 Carry out duties as safety advisor when required during emergencies, as per the facility response plan. 
 Checking firefighting systems, interlocks and healthiness periodically. 
 Ensure control measure taken against operational issues, near misses, safety walk downs, 
observations.
