    Your Career Asa Systems Engineer, you'll enable sales engagements intoa set of large new enterprise accounts.

    You will play a key role innavigating complex accounts in order to generate and deliverwinning proposals, contract bids, statements of work, and RFI/RFPresponses.

    It is business critical to meet and exceed sales quotasby building and implementing strategic account plans targetingenterprise-wide deployments of the Palo Alto NetworksNext-Generation Security Platform.

    • Establishyourself as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers workingwith your Account Manager and the local partners within yourterritory
    • Identify and document specific cybersecuritythreats and concerns which can be solved through the deployment ofour solutions
    • Build and lead evaluations and proof ofconcepts that clearly demonstrate the compelling differentiators ofour product portfolio, showcasing value and ROI on our productsuite for individual clients
    • Architect and proposesolutions which address the identified problems in a creative andinnovative way
    • Gain validation from the potential clientthat the solution being proposed is compelling and worthy ofinvestment
    • Ensure ongoing customer satisfaction whileexceeding quota expectations
    • Continuous self-improvementand learning to maintain technical leadership of applicabletechnologies (data center, SDN, public cloud, security, networking,etc.)
    • Understand our portfolio of products, with a focuson Next-Generation Firewall in addition to competitor'stechnologies
    • Articulate our value proposition and visionfor network security
    • Identify problems in customerenvironments and positioning Palo Alto Networks solutions
    • Customer facing engagement, writing, presentation, andcreative analytical skills
    • Works productively with theimmediate team and channel partners and can engage with theproduct, marketing, and other members of the extended team
    • Run the extension and return of evaluation equipmentwithin your prospects and customers
    • Understand andassist customers through the support escalation process
    • Domestic travel within the territory is often required, andinternational travel may be required Qualifications Your Experience
    • 4+ years of experience as a successful pre-sales SE,systems integrator, or equivalent experience
    • BS inComputer Science or equivalent
    • Working knowledge of PaloAlto Networks products, with a focus on Next-Generation Firewalland some comparative technologies; Continuous technical development
    • Experience with systems installation, configuration andadministration of routers/switches, UNIX/Linux, and Windows-basedsystems
    • Experience that emphasizes L2-L4 Networks (L2switching architectures including Spanning Tree, IP routing thatincludes OSPF and BGP, and L4 Load balancing)
    • Understandand effectively present our security platform to technical andnon-technical audiences
    • Strong analytical skills toevaluate complex multivariate problems and find a systematicapproach to gain a quick resolution, often under duress
    • Mature and effective time-management skills
    • Priorexperience selling network infrastructure-based securityappliances, including but not limited to: Firewalls, SSL/IPSecVPNs, Security Proxies and Caches
    • Familiarity workingwith Channel partners and understanding of a channel-centric marketapproach
    • Previous work in the enterprise networkingsecurity space
    • Experience and knowledge of modernnetwork threats and malware, network forensics, automation toolsand technologies, and endpoint security technologies
    • Significant industry certifications (SANS, CISSP, CCIE,etc)
