    Performs general cost accounting and other related duties in theaccounting

    Prepares periodic (monthly) balance sheets, income statements, andprofit and loss

    Maintains the general

    Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, andcloses the monthly

    Reconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, andaddresses inquiries from

    Reconciles customer accounts and manages accounts receivable

    Verifies payment of invoices associated with accounts payable andensures payments are charged to the appropriate

    Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessaryaccount information and documents to perform annual

    Files required tax forms with federal, state, and local government

    As appropriate, coordinates with software vendor to maintainaccounting software system; recommends updates to enhance theaccounting

    1Examines assigned financial records and statements for

    1Analyzes financial data, making recommendations as appropriate toimprove accuracy, efficiency, and to reduce

    1Inspects the budget and general ledger for assigned departments andaccounts, ensuring that funds are available, and expenditures areassigned

    Requirements

    RequiredEducation andExperience

    Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

    3+ years of accounting experience

    Certified Public Accountant(CPA)

    5+ years of accounting experience
