    We arelooking for an experienced Valuations and Modelling professional tojoin our high performing team as a Senior Manager. EY has anestablished industry leading Valuation and Modelling and Economicspractice. We advise our clients in addressing their transaction andnontransaction related decisionmaking process including strategicplanning identification and assessment of value creation financialreporting market valuation for transactional purposeetc.

    Your keyresponsibilities

    As a Senior Manager within Valuation Modelling and Economics (VME)advisory team you are likely to spend your daytoday working oncommercial issues working with management on parts of theacquisition process or transformation plans and regularly undertakevaluations for strategic priorities. You will manage the projectteams and work closely with all members as well as forming stronginternal links within VME and other departments in EY. You willunderstand the key business drivers codeveloping our approach withthe client agreeing value measurements with the client providingvalue to the client through insights factual conclusions andadvice. You will plan prepare and review deliverables in variousforms including excel data books written reports presentations anddiscussions with the client. You will understand the capabilitiesof the firm and look for opportunities to sell additional servicesto our clients. You will also help to create a positive learningculture for junior team members and support their development. Youwill take the responsibility for own learning and developmentprovide coaching to others and participate in upward feedback. Aspart of your role in the wider team youll have a role to play inother team initiatives for example account management clientservices framework andrecruitment.


    Skills and attributes forsuccess

    • Strategic you will help clients identifying source of valuecreation and quantifying it. You will need to have asolutionoriented mindset to act as a truly Corporate Financeadvisor to leverage on EY capabilities and assist clients insolving their issues and unlocking potential for valuegrowth.
    • Commercial as part of the team you willregularly advise businesses on valuations issues with regards toacquisition divestitures or restructuring and provide fairnessopinions on transactions andrestructurings;
    • Regulatory and Accounting youwill work with management as part of an acquisition process tounderstand how the value of acquired intangible and financialassets will impact accounting requirements provide fair valueopinion for financial reportingpurpose;


    To qualify for the role you musthave

    • As a minimum a bachelors degree in finance economics accounting orbusiness and at least 8 years of related business valuation workexperience
    • Indepth understanding as well asexpertise in various Valuation methodologies market assessmentmarket sizing feasibility and plans building supply demand gapsanalyses financial analyses capital allocation portfoliooptimization etc.
    • Financial modelling skillsincluding experience building models fromscratch
    • Broad understanding of IFRS standardsrelated to fair value measurements business combination impairmenttesting etc.

    . Previous experiencein coaching teams of junior and seniorstaff

    Ideally youllalsohave

    • Previous valuation experience in professional services/Big 4Firm
    • Achievement of or significant progresstowards a CFA
    • Understanding of the Qatari (orbroader GCC) market
    • Excellent BusinessDevelopment skills
    • Arabic language skills(although notmandatory)
