- Monitor the work assignments ofeach Section/Division in order to assure the proper functioning ofall sections.
- Facilitates the ordering of thesupplies and materials and ensure adequate inventories for eachSection/Division
- Investigates and acts as anarbitrator in matters of dispute arising from work assignmentsrecommends any necessary disciplinary action to the department headthrough the lab director.
- Acts as laboratoryrepresentative in Hospital committees if and when required by thelab director.
- Participates and assists incontinuing education of the technical staff and training program inmedical technology for developees and Qatar Universitystudents.
- Oversees the Implementation anddocumentation of quality control /assuranceprogram.
- Assures responsibilities formaintaining department safetystandards.
- Perform other professional duties asrequired by her head of the section and the departmenthead.
- Responsible for management of humanembryos and provides input into clinicaldecisions.
- Coordinates Patient information forgamete and embryo status with physicians, nurses and laboratorypersonnel.
- Analyzes and prepares fresh and/orfrozen semen samples for insemination of patients or oocytesretrieval, determines oocyteinsemination.
