    Reporting to the Head of Post Production, the Senior Sound Engineer will work across a range of television series, digital, news and stand-alone productions. He/she will be responsible shaping the audio identity and quality of media content, working large scale major series, mid and small range studio series, live studio recordings ensuring the highest standards are delivered, collaborating closely with series and senior producers, directors, and bring the programming to life.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Working closely with series and senior producers, producer, directors and when called upon assistant producers to deliver the right audio to enhance their production.
    • Provide experience and skills in audio story telling.
    • Fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
    • Mentoring junior sound engineers and designers.
    • Providing constructive feedback to enhance the story telling of the series or production.
    • Lead in high profile complicated projects.
    • Utilize advanced audio skills to craft compelling narratives, ensure seamless continuity, and maintain the channel's visual style.
    • Work closely with the program makers to interpret creative briefs and develop innovative concepts for audio content.
    • Offer creative insights and contribute to the development of audio storytelling techniques that resonate with target audience.
    • Oversee the quality control process, ensuring that all audio content meets the channel's standards for technical excellence, aesthetic appeal, and brand consistency.
    • Staying abreast of the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in audio and post-production.
    • Continuously enhance own technical skills and explore new tools to optimize workflow efficiency and enhance the quality of productions.
    • Collaborate with production managers and production coordinators to develop realistic timelines.
    • Foster strong working relationships with cross-functional teams including cinematographers, sound designers, and graphic artists.
    • Collaborate closely throughout the production process to ensure seamless integration of sound design.
    • Act as a trusted advisor, offering strategic guidance and creative solutions to achieve their objectives.
