    Reporting to the Head of Post Production, theSenior Sound Engineer will work across a range of televisionseries, digital, news and stand-alone productions. He/she will beresponsible shaping the audio identity and quality of mediacontent, working large scale major series, mid and small rangestudio series, live studio recordings ensuring the higheststandards are delivered, collaborating closely with series andsenior producers, directors, and bring the programming tolife.

    JOBDESCRIPTION

    • Workingclosely with series and senior producers, producer, directors andwhen called upon assistant producers to deliver the right audio toenhance their production.
    • Provide experienceand skills in audio story telling.
    • Fostering acollaborative and creative workenvironment.
    • Mentoring junior sound engineersand designers.
    • Providing constructive feedbackto enhance the story telling of the series orproduction.
    • Lead in high profile complicatedprojects.
    • Utilize advanced audio skills tocraft compelling narratives, ensure seamless continuity, andmaintain the channel's visualstyle.
    • Work closely with the program makers tointerpret creative briefs and develop innovative concepts for audiocontent.
    • Offer creative insights and contributeto the development of audio storytelling techniques that resonatewith target audience.
    • Oversee the qualitycontrol process, ensuring that all audio content meets thechannel's standards for technical excellence, aestheticappeal, and brand consistency.
    • Staying abreastof the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in audio andpost-production.
    • Continuously enhance owntechnical skills and explore new tools to optimize workflowefficiency and enhance the quality ofproductions.
    • Collaborate with productionmanagers and production coordinators to develop realistictimelines.
    • Foster strong working relationshipswith cross-functional teams including cinematographers, sounddesigners, and graphic artists.
    • Collaborateclosely throughout the production process to ensure seamlessintegration of sound design.
    • Act as a trustedadvisor, offering strategic guidance and creative solutions toachieve their objectives.
