    To actively recruit crews from theinternational market place in order to meet crewing requirementsfor all contracts via agencies, job boards, internet and othermeans


    • Be first point of contact for potentialemployees, vet and authenticate resumes andqualification/certifications with issuing bodies and provision ofinformation for recruitment agencies, potential and existingemployees including assisting with externalenquiries
    • Conduct one on one interview inEnglish with candidates from all countries to ascertain technicalknowledge and suitability of the applicant.
    • Have working knowledge of all marine trades utilised by the companyincluding bridge officers, engineers, crane operations,slinging/rigging, dynamic positioning and the use of this knowledgefor initial technical interview to appraise the applicantsknowledge and breadth of experience
    • Selectionof training providers and transport of personnel to trainingproviders to meet mandatory oil & gas marine requirementsprior to mobilisation
    • Arrangement of allsecurity passes, port passes and certificates required by QatarPetroleum and organisation of immigration and visas via governmentdepartments
    • Arrange and follow up emergencyand medical treatment situations including transport off vessel viafast boat or helicopter, arrangement of immigration applicationsfor the personnel upon their return to port for medical treatment,arrange transport from port to medical the facility and manage thewelfare of the medical case, replicating the previous for thereturn to duty. This duty requires the incumbent to be on call andavailable to manage an emergency situation on a 24 hour 7day weekalert status
    • Issue of personal protectiveequipment during induction phase, maintenance of equipment stockand replenishment of items
    • Negotiation ofsalary and employment contract details for new employees,negotiation of same for existing and extending personnel and issueof company ID, security passes and competency cards (e.g.
    HUET)


    • Maintenance of comprehensive personneldata base that meets company manning demands and concurrentlycomplies with ISM, ISO and OHSAS codes of practice to which thecompany subscribes
    • Provision of data, metricsand information for internal, external 3rd party and tenderinformation requests.
    • Maintenance andcontribution to company electronic data bases including Oracle andShipnet
    • Arrangement of technical courses thatmeet the contractual and client requirements examples: H2S,Slinging, BA, Crane operators, Chemical HAZOP/HAZID, Rigging,offshore survival, medicals etc.
