X-V, NSX-T networking technologies Provide scripted solutions to daily tasks using PowerShell, PowerCLI.

Assume a leadership role in internal projects that help scale the environment Help implement best practices and improve the overall methodology of operational support Lead and support other team members effectively to maintain our server infrastructure support model Provide tier 1, 2, and subject matter expert systems support for production Distributed Compute platforms including VMware and Windows on virtual and physical hardware Assure 24/7/365 systems availability for compute platform and associated components Utilize VMware vRNI, vROPs, and emerging tools to diagnose and improve network performance in the virtual infrastructure Support the deployment and configuration of automation creating virtual networking Configure and monitor network security in a multi-tenant environment Monitoring integration with other software-defined networking technologies Demonstrate a high level of skill in configuring, troubleshooting, and administering IT server virtualization and networking generally Administration of VMware virtual environment using vSphere spanning multiple data centers and networks.

Installation and configuration of VMware vCenter Server. Installation and configuration of VMware ESXi hosts. Perform troubleshooting of existing environment and new deployments in VMWare servers. Conduct active monitoring of the environment and respond to alerts and errors. Document, review, and update system administration guides and procedures. Configure and troubleshoot VMware virtual switches and NSX switches. Configure and troubleshoot vSAN, ISCSI, and NFS datastores. Assist other system administrators with troubleshooting virtual machines (Microsoft, RedHat, Ubuntu, etc.) and virtual desktops.


Experience / Qualifications:

5+ years of experience supporting modern secure, scalable, highly available infrastructure 5+ years of experience supporting VMware vSphere Infrastructure components.

5+ years of experience supporting VMware NSX 5+ years experience utilizing VMware vROPs, vRNI and other available tools for alerting and reporting 5+ years experience in information security and network operationsDesired Certification(s): VMware Certified Professional (VCP-DC).
