X-V, NSX-T networking technologies Providescripted solutions to daily tasks using PowerShell, PowerCLI.Assume a leadership role in internal projects that help scale theenvironment Help implement best practices and improve the overallmethodology of operational support Lead and support other teammembers effectively to maintain our server infrastructure supportmodel Provide tier 1, 2, and subject matter expert systems supportfor production Distributed Compute platforms including VMware andWindows on virtual and physical hardware Assure 24/7/365 systemsavailability for compute platform and associated components UtilizeVMware vRNI, vROPs, and emerging tools to diagnose and improvenetwork performance in the virtual infrastructure Support thedeployment and configuration of automation creating virtualnetworking Configure and monitor network security in a multi-tenantenvironment Monitoring integration with other software-definednetworking technologies Demonstrate a high level of skill inconfiguring, troubleshooting, and administering IT servervirtualization and networking generally Administration of VMwarevirtual environment using vSphere spanning multiple data centersand networks.

Installation and configuration of VMware vCenterServer. Installation and configuration of VMware ESXi hosts.
Perform troubleshooting of existing environment and new deploymentsin VMWare servers. Conduct active monitoring of the environment andrespond to alerts and errors. Document, review, and update systemadministration guides and procedures. Configure and troubleshootVMware virtual switches and NSX switches. Configure andtroubleshoot vSAN, ISCSI, and NFS datastores. Assist other systemadministrators with troubleshooting virtual machines (Microsoft,RedHat, Ubuntu, etc.) and virtual desktops.


Experience /Qualifications:
5+ years of experience supporting modern secure,scalable, highly available infrastructure 5+ years of experiencesupporting VMware vSphere Infrastructure components.

5+ years ofexperience supporting VMware NSX 5+ years experience utilizingVMware vROPs, vRNI and other available tools for alerting andreporting 5+ years experience in information security and networkoperationsDesired Certification(s): VMware Certified Professional(VCP-DC).
