    As a Field Service Engineer - CentrifugalCompressors, you will be coordinating and overseeing work at thefield site, providing quality service to the customer. In addition,your Job role may include providing the planning necessary for thejob including instructions to the crew andequipment.

    As a Field Service Engineer -Centrifugal Compressor, you will be responsiblefor

    • Providingtechnical advice and support to clients and craft labour in theinstallation, commissioning and maintenance of BakerHughes-supplied CentrifugalCompressors.
    • Unloading and Inspection of theCentrifugal Compressor & its major auxiliaries at theinstallation site and their placement on thefoundation.
    • Improving Geometric dimensionalcheck of foundation, equipment and auxiliary skids positioning,levelling, and alignment
    • PerformingInstallation, commissioning & Startup of various types ofCentrifugal Compressors MCL, BCL, PCL, and SRL supplied by BakerHughes at customer sites.
    • Performing minor& major inspections of Centrifugal Compressors. Involvingassembly, disassembly, checking and adjusting clearances evaluatingwear and damage state of Couplings, lubricated-tooth, anddry-elastic types, thrust bearings and journal bearings of variouskinds, gas seals, labyrinth and honeycomb types, Oil seals, gaugedfloating rings types, Dry gas seals or oil mechanical seals,Labyrinth or honeycomb inner seals, Diaphragms or diaphragms bundleand volutes.

    To be successful inthis role you will:

    • Have a bachelor's inengineering/full-time 3 years technical diploma with 5-10 years ofrelevant industry experience.
    • Have workingexperience in Rotating equipment in the Field at CustomerSites.
    • Have excellent Functional/Technical,Customer Focus, Communication, Interpersonal, and Team workingskills.
    • Have prior experience in Installationand/or Maintenance activities of Centrifugal Compressors in theField at Customer Sites
