    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • Provide directcare to assigned patients Take the nursing history, summarise data,and state nursing diagnoses and patient care needs.
    • Provides skilled safe, holistic and culturally competent,person-centered nursing care to patients, families, community andsociety, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary teamirrespective of healthcare settings.
    • Provides andevaluates direct patient care.
    • Delivers nursing care andpractices, embedding the organization Registered Nurse Scope ofPractice as the ethical and professional framework, alongsideconsideration of the socio-cultural needs of patients, families,communities and society.
    • Implements prescribedinterventions (e.g. diagnostic tests, medications) and performsindependent nursing interventions (e.g. patient or client andfamily education) Ensures the implementation, coordination andongoing evaluation of the patient or client care plan.
    • Adhere to infection-control protocols.
    • Check andmaintain nursing supplies inventory.
