    JobOverview

    Our Educationdepartment is looking for a talented and experienced candidate tojoin us as an Associate Professor.

    As anAssociate Professor, you will be responsible for lecturing studentsas per the university syllabus. You will also be conductingresearch and attending conferences. Additionally, you will have tosupervise students as and when needed.

    Priorwork experience as an Associate Professor or a similar job rolewill be an added advantage for the candidate. Moreover, you shouldhave excellent communication skills and the ability to managestudents efficiently. You should also possess outstanding timemanagement skills and good organizational skills.

    Responsibilities

    • 1. Teach residents and studentsduring their rotation to their patient careunits
    • 2. Organizing teaching/training of PGstudents / other staff, of the department
    • Theywill be responsible for all the medical staff working in theirrespective department/units.Preparing lessons as per the universitycurriculum.
    • Researching onnew topics in the syllabus.
    • Developingteaching content as per the requirements.
    • Explaining and teachingstudent's various concepts and theories as per your expertise.
    • Attending departmental and faculty meetings.
    • Lecturing students related to areas ofexpertise.
    • Selecting students for thegraduation program.
    • Organizing seminars andevents for the students.
    • Visiting other collegesand universities as an external resource person.
    • Suggesting improvements in the teachingmethods and techniques.
    • Paying extra attentionto the struggling students.
    • Offering academicsupport to the Assistant Professor as well as Professor.
    • Overseeing and accessing students' projectwork.
    • Maintaining a funenvironment and engaging students.
    • Stayingabreast of the latest finding in the area of your expertise.
    • Adhering to rules and regulations of theschool board/ university.

    Requirements

    • Master s degree in the requiredMD/(Anatomy)
    • As Assistant Professor / Lecturer(Anatomy) in forfive years in a recognized Medical college.4+ years of workexperience in the
    • Minimum of twoResearch publications indexed in Index Medicus/nationaljournals.
    • An excellent academicrecord is a must.
    • Ability to manage aclassroom excellently.
    • Phenomenalcommunication skills both verbal and written.
    • Ability to complete thecurriculum on time.
    • Ability to handlestressful situations.
    • Ability to research andteach efficiently.
    • Strong work ethics.
    • A pleasant and hardworking individual.
    • Outstanding presentationskills.
