- Maintain daily mis-en-place (MEP) andprepare ingredients
- Inspect & cleanfood preparation areas, ensure safe personal hygiene &sanitary food-handling practices, HACCP, labeling &FIFO/FEFO practices, hygienic handling & storage ofequipment & utensils
- Ensure the higheststandards and consistent quality in the dailypreparation
- Be familiar with new products,recipes & preparation techniques
- Havefull knowledge of all menu items, daily highlights, andpromotions
- Be familiar with the use of allelectrical and mechanical equipment in the kitchen and observesafety precautions when handling them
- Promptlyreport any hazards, unsafe working conditions, or equipment whichrequires repair or maintenance to the immediatesupervisor
- Effectivecommunication between colleagues to ensure a secure and friendlyworking environment
