    • Determines annual unit andgross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; andanalyzing trends and results.
    • Establishes salesobjectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas forregions and territories; and projecting expected sales volume andprofit for existing and newproducts.
    • Implements national sales programs bydeveloping field sales action plans.
    • Maintainssales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping currentwith supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, andcompetitors.
    • Establishes and adjusts sellingprices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply anddemand.
    • Completes national sales operationalrequirements by scheduling and assigning employees; and followingup on work results.
    • Maintains national salesstaff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and trainingemployees.
    • Maintains national sales staff workresults by counseling and disciplining employees; and planning,monitoring, and appraising jobresults.
    • Maintains professional and technicalknowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewingprofessional publications, establishing personal networks, andparticipating in professionalsocieties.
    • Contributes to team effort byaccomplishing related results asneeded.
