The Training Instructor Supervisor– Armament, will be responsible for the supervision anddelivery of both theoretical and practical training, relating toTyphoon Type, specialist and support training, and assessingtrainee performance and evaluating the efficacy of the trainingsystem. Formal Training will occur within the Qatar TyphoonTraining Facility (QTTF) augmented by mentored training within theoperational environment. The role also includes the day-to-daysupervision and allocation of Training Instructors againstinstructional and mentoring duties, and ensuring that all coursesare appropriately staffed and resourced.
Key aspects of the Training InstructorSupervisor – Armament, role includes:
Act as the subject matter and curriculum lead for yourmaintenance technician area, including the supervision, coachingand mentoring of Training Instructors.
-Supervision of the Training Instructors and taking part in thepreparation and delivery of the allocated course in accordance withthe authorised Syllabus, and associated materials, in line with thetraining schedule within the Training Management Information System(TMIS).
Supervision of the TrainingInstructors or nominated personnel for the invigilation and markingof examinations and assessments.
Supervisionof the Training Instructors and taking part in the continuousassessment, evaluation and reporting of traineeprogress.
Coordinate the aircraft andequipment required for your courses.
-Supervision of the Training Instructors and taking part in ensuringthat trainees use appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)and observe safety precautions and procedures during practicaltraining.
Supervision of the TrainingInstructors and taking part in ensuring that equipment pre-usechecks are carried out and associated approved data is availablebefore training commences.
Supervision of theTraining Instructors and taking part in ensuring that training isconducted safely and that training areas, including training aids,classrooms, workshops and ground instructional / operationalaircraft are left in a safe condition.
-Supervision of the Training Instructors and taking part in themaintenance of discipline of your allocated trainees at all times;this includes break times and during changeover between trainingareas.
Supervision of the Training Instructorsand taking part in the reporting of trainee absences to yourTraining Manager.
Monitoring and verifying thequality and accuracy of instruction and assessment of your TrainingInstructor subject knowledge and skills.
-Development and maintenance of your own and the competencies of theTraining Instructors.
