    The Laundry Attendant'sresponsibilities include sorting, marking, cleaning, pressing, andfolding clothes and other textile articles. He/ She is responsiblefor keeping a record of which items belong to whom. He/ Shedemonstrates excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. TheLaundry attendant is responsible for reporting maintenance toensure safe keeping of the laundry assets as well as reporting lost& found objects. He/ She interacts with various departmentand he/she needs to keep Guest's perspective in mind atall time to achieve the housekeeping departmental mission as wellas the company values.

    PrimaryResponsibilities

    • Consistentlyoffer professional, friendly and engagingservice.
    • Report to shift on time in uniform andperfectly groomed.
    • Is courteous, positive andestablish and maintain professional working relationship with allstaff.
    • Participate to daily briefing andtraining.
    • Check the handover log book andfollow up any outstanding issues.
    • Fullyunderstand and aware of all the different fabric type and cleaninginstruction and cycles to be able to process the garment accuratelyand quickly.
    • Receive, Check, track, record,dispatch garment according to treatmentrequested
    • Inspect, record and mark the garmentas per standard
    • Sorting, the garment perrequired and specified delivery time
    • Sort thegarment per type and washinginstruction
    • Operate and monitor washing, drycleaning, and drying machinery in accordance with companystandards.
    • Operate machinery (washer/ dryer/dry cleaning machine/ steam iron/ pressetc....)
    • Apply correct treatment tostained items based on fabric and staintype.
    • Maintain accurate records of itemswashed, number of loads, and poundage of dry cleaning andlaundry.
    • Transport cart of washed articles todryers and place in dryers according to loadsize.
    • Remove lint and debris from dryerscreens, dry cleaning filters, and drain trap after eachload.
    • Monitor levels in chemical containers toensure chemicals are being dispensed, and notifysupervisor/manager
    • Fold clothing and othertextile items as per establishedstandards.
    • Perform minor sewing duties whenapplicable or pass them to theseamstress.
