- Performregular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of mechanical,electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC systems, boilers,generators, and other equipment as needed.
- Diagnose andtroubleshoot equipment malfunctions or system failures to identifyand implement effective solutions promptly.
- Respond toemergencies such as equipment breakdowns, power outages, or leaksto minimize downtime and ensure the safety of personnel andproperty.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenanceactivities, equipment inventory, and work performed. Generatereports as required by management.
- Ensure that allmaintenance activities comply with safety regulations, buildingcodes, and industry standards. Conduct regular safety inspectionsand follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials.
- Coordinate with other departments, contractors, andvendors for maintenance projects, equipment installations, andprocurement of supplies and parts.
- Provide training andtechnical support to junior technicians or staff members involvedin equipment operation or maintenance tasks.
- Identifyopportunities for process improvement, energy efficiency, and costsavings in equipment maintenance and operations. Qualifications
- A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering,Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience of at least 2 years in hospitality in a similarcapacity is preferred.
- Proficiency in troubleshootingmechanical and electrical systems, knowledge of building automationsystems (BAS), and familiarity with maintenance tools andequipment.
- Excellent communication skills to interactwith team members, vendors, and management effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify issues,evaluate alternatives, and implement solutions.
- Relevantcertifications such as HVAC/R certification, electrical licenses,or other industry-specific certifications are aplus
