    Our Client is aleading global consulting company, with a major focus on marketingdata, insights and research. They are looking for an AccountManager to assist with their clientrelations.


    Thepurpose of thejob:

    • Seniorposition on the Consumer team focusing on ad-hoc quantitativestudies.
    • Clientmanagement anddevelopment.
    • NewBusiness Development with targets for sales andrevenue.
    • Firstpoint of contact for the client on aproject.
    • Runprojects with minimal seniorsupervision.
    • Linemanagement responsibility and some involvement in departmentalmanagement, including being a representative/ advocate for thedepartment.
    • Responsibilityfor growth toolimplementation.

    1. Developmentof Clientrelationships:
    • Maintainand nurture client relationships.
    • Developnew business from existingclients.
    • Goodunderstanding of client business andmarket.
    • Manageand promote delivery to clientexpectations.

    • Accountablefor managing projects and team to drive positive GM andprofit.
    • Pricingfor success andprofit.
    • Workswith internal and external clients to identify cost effectivesolutions.
    • Targetsfor sales andrevenue.
    1. Proposalprocess:
    • Accountablefor creation and integrity of proposal and pitch.
    • Responsiblefor turning complex research approaches into workable &profitablesolutions.
    1. Projectmanagement / Fieldwork:
    • Suggestprocess improvements to suppliers andteam.
    • Driveintegration of team members to deliverexcellence.
    • Clarifyand manage roles and budget within projectteam.
    • Overseechange to meet business and client needs.
    • Managethe creation & review of materials to meet clientneeds.
    • Managemultiple projects simultaneously with minimalsupervision.
    1. Analysis/reporting:
    • Generateinsight and recommendations that demonstrate knowledge of theclient s world and are based on clientneed.
    • Analyzedata patterns in detail to understand significance and identifyappropriate action (QualityAssurance).
    1. Leadership,team and peoplemanagement:
    • Attendweekly interdepartmental salesmeetings.
    • Manageand assist team in developing accountstrategy.
    • Seekopportunities to share learning and coach/mentorteam.
    • Ensuredirect reports have objectives & development plans tosupport team goals and companystrategy.
    • Assistin recruitment and development of staff in line with team andcompanyneeds.
    1. Communication:
    • Activelylisten and communicate openly with clients and internalteams.
    • Clearlyand persuasively communicate complex issues, internally andexternally.
    • Clearlyand accurately write reports, presentations and proposaldocuments.
    • Deliverpresentations to seniorclients.
