Use salestechniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guestloyalty to Marriott, including up-selling. Determine and givecomplimentaries to guests as gifts for their patronage (e.g.,rewards points, show tickets, gift certificates). Promote awarenessof brand image internally and externally. Process requests forredeeming Marriott Rewards points. Process all reservationrequests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, ormail. Enter Marriott Rewards information into appropriate softwarewhen taking guest reservations. Answer, record, and process allguest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.Perform generaloffice duties to support Sales & Marketing (e.g., filing,sending emails, typing, faxing).Assist management in training andmotivating employees; serve as a role model.
Follow all companypolicies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance areclean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietaryinformation; protect company assets.
Welcome and acknowledge allguests according to company standards; anticipate and addressguests service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speakwith others using clear and professional language; prepare andreview written documents accurately and completely; answertelephones using appropriate etiquette.Develop and maintainpositive working relationships with others; support team to reachcommon goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns ofother employees.
Monitor the performance of others to ensureadherence to quality expectations and standards. Read and visuallyverify information in a variety of formats. Move, lift, carry,push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10pounds without assistance.
