    *Requirements**: The Recruitmentand Employment Manager is responsible for contributing to the HumanResources Department in various ways, specifically in the areas of:recruitment, expatriation orientation, onboarding, retention,community relations, and off-boarding.

    *Responsibilities**: Collect/review references and prepare offerletters; Advise hiring managers and committees on the recruitmentprocess and best practices; Arrange onboarding schedules withhiring managers, in coordination with the HR Specialist; Manageonboarding and expatriation of new local and internationalemployees, coordinating such aspects as communication (internal andto new employees), flight arrangements, introducing new employeesto banking options, drafting employment letters for banks, etc.;Assist new and current employees with finding spaces for theirchildren in high-quality schools in Doha; Support retention effortsthrough communication of activities and resources in Doha to theGU-Q community; Offer support for spousal engagement andemployment, including assisting with resume/cover letterdevelopment and interview coaching, providing access to employmentrelated networking opportunities across Education City and in thewider Doha community, and facilitating spousal engagementactivities; Coordinate a variety of activities related to NewEmployee Orientation (such as scheduling presenters, organizingagenda, requesting and reviewing presentations, etc.); Manage exitand repatriation processes for departing employees; Contribute todevelopment of content for the HR Newsletter and other departmentalcommunications as needed;

    *Qualifications**: Bachelor's degree; 5+ years' human resources withsome recruiting experience, preferably in a Human ResourcesDepartment of a multinational organization or an accreditedinstitution of higher education; Knowledge of U.S. employment andQatari labor laws, as well as recruitment and retention bestpractices; Ability to build rapport, inspire confidence, andinfluence stakeholders; Experience maintaining a high level ofconfidentiality; Ability to demonstrate prior experience beingproactive, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task and organizework; Excellent critical, analytical, and problem-solving skills;Sophisticated command of the English language, both verbally and inwriting; Strong proficiency with Windows and MS Office as well asability to work with web content management systems; GPHR, CIPD orother HR certification is desirable.
