    The Role We are looking forengineers who are excited to be part of our early story and help usbuild a diverse and vibrant company.

    As a senior software engineeryou will have the opportunity to work across the entire stack witha focus on Android applications.

    You will have the opportunity tolearn and drive the creation of financial products and experiencesto help our customers reach their full potential.

    You should have astrong sense of ownership and enjoy taking projects from inceptionto release.

    As an early employee, you'll be working witha nimble team of committed and talented engineers and having alarge, long-term impact on technical design and engineeringculture.

    We are open to candidates from Canada, the United States,and Colombia. What You'll Do

    • Collaborate withengineering and product teams across the company to build newfeatures and products.
    • Play a critical role in thedevelopment, design, and maintenance of Flex's Androidapplications.
    • Architect well thought-out components andsystems that ensure Flex's continued growth.
    • Own problems end-to-end, thinking through everything from userexperience, latency, observability, security, and metrics.
    • Lead by example and mentor engineers in all aspects ofplanning, development and testing.
    • Be a catalyst fordriving best-in-class technology frameworks and tooling whilestaying engaged with the latest technology trends. What You Need
    • Proficiency in Kotlin, mobile concepts, and UI/UX designprinciples.
    • An understanding and interest inarchitectural patterns for mobile applications.
    • Familiarity with software engineering development cycles.
    • Ability to hold yourself and the team to high standards.
    • Strong communication (written and verbal) andinterpersonal skills.
    • Ability to provide in-depthevaluation of multiple technical directions and determine tradeoffsof each.
    • Strong propensity to make data-driven decisionson technical architecture and project prioritization.
    • Exposure to mobile frameworks along with the benefits andchallenges they bring.
    • Experience with any cloud basedprovider like Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
    • Four or moreyears of relevant industry experience with a track record ofshipping high-quality products and features atscale
