Job Summary Responsibilefor the provision of clinical care for children and young peoplefocusing on prevention, diagnosis and treatment of illness.
JobResponsibilities 1 Advise patients, parents or guardians andcommunity members concerning diet, activity, hygiene, and diseaseprevention. Examine children regularly to assess their growth anddevelopment.Examine patients or order, perform and interpretdiagnostic tests to obtain information on medical condition anddetermine diagnosis Explain procedures and discuss test results orprescribed treatments with patients and parents or guardians.
JobResponsibilities 2 Supports in professional development of allmedical, technical and nursing staff in his/her area of expertise.Participates in the various committees for the upgrading of patientcare services and organization of work within and outside thehospital. Participates in scheduling of on-call duties and provideson-call services. Participates in the assessment and updating ofdrug, medical supply and equipment needs. Writes, completes andapproves medical reports for patients. Participates in researchactivities. Performs special procedures asprivileged.
