- Drive business growth and development by identifying newopportunities, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, andexpanding the company's presence in the Middle East/Africaconstruction market.
- Ensure compliance with localregulations, health and safety standards, and industry bestpractices.
- Optimise operational processes and proceduresto enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Monitorfinancial performance, prepare budgets, and make strategicdecisions to maximise profitability and sustainability.
- Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuousimprovement within the organisation.
- Represent thecompany in negotiations, meetings, and industry events to promotethe company's interests and enhance its reputation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients,suppliers, and partners to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Proven experience as a General Manager orsimilar executive leadership role in the construction industry,with a minimum of 20 years of relevant experience.
- Previous experience working in main contracting, MEP contracting,Fit-out, joinery or stone sectors.
- In-depth knowledge ofthe Middle East construction market, including industry trends,regulations, and key players.
- Strong business acumen,strategic thinking, and a demonstrated ability to drive businessgrowth and profitability.
- Excellent leadership andpeople management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate,and develop high-performing teams.
- Solid understandingof project management, financial management, and operational bestpractices within the construction sector.
- Exceptionalcommunication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build andmaintain effective relationships with internal and externalstakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in CivilEngineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or arelated field. A master's degree or MBA would be anadvantage.
- Proven track record of successfullydelivering complex construction projects on time and within budget.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is required, with a strongpreference for candidates with prior experience working in thecountry. Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
