    • Develops strategically sound andcost-effective measures for the purchasing of materials required bythe organization.
    • Leads continuous evaluationof spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhancethe quality of products purchased and the timeliness ofdeliveries.
    • Leads and drives initiatives thatdeliver improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness ofprocurement activity and creates and updates a simplified processfor end users time to time.
    • Leads conducting ofcost analyses and setting benchmarks for furtherimprovement
    • Effective supervising ofprocurement team and delegating tasks across the section whennecessary
    • Maintaining relationships withsuppliers while continually updating additional vendors forpurchasing efficiency.
    • Attending Trade Shows,Conferences and Meetings for gradual knowledgeupdate.
    • Working collaboratively with keystakeholders to achieve budget savings targets that support theachievement cost efficiency.
    • Responsible forobjectives development and implementation for theSection
    • Develops and implements work relatedpolicies and procedures in collaboration with centralized QMdepartments.
    • Plans and implementssystems/workflow that perform the work and fulfil the objectives ofthe section efficiently andeffectively.
    • Manages the preparation andmaintenance of reports necessary to carry out the functions of thesection. Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary orrequested, to track strategic goalaccomplishment.
    • Ensures that employees areprovided with sufficient supervision, instruction, training, andequipment to enable them to perform their dutiessafely.
