    An established rehabilitation hospital 40 minutes east of Baton Rouge is looking for a full-time, permanent Speech Pathologist to join their team Great leadership team and fantastic benefits make this a very desired location. New grads are welcome to apply

    Pay Rate: $ $45.00/hourly Depending on experience

    Speech Pathologist Opportunity:

    • Schedule: 7:00am-3:30pm Mon-Fri; Inpatient rehab
    • Communicate observations, facts, and comments with nursing and interdisciplinary team members, individually, and through team meeting presentations to ensure efficient coordination of the overall health care plan.
    • Supervise subordinate staff and student activities; assign patients and transmit orders to support staff members.
    • Provide clinical supervision of patient treatments, support staff, family and inter-team communication, and record keeping. Attend staff conferences and family conferences. Monitor patient case load balance and therapy orders.
    • Act as liaison with nursing, medical staff and other hospital personnel to facilitate problem solving and coordination of services and act as educational resource
      Identify needs in program planning and facilitate program development

    Speech Pathologist Qualifications:

    • Must be a graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
    • Louisiana license required, or eligible to obtain
    • CCC required
