  • Familiarity with local regulations and requirements in relation to roads and traffic solutions
  • Familiarity with traffic modelling requirements,
  • Ability to conceive/review earthworks, roads, and utilities solutions for the development of new areas.
  • Offer technical advice on buildability and value engineering solutions,
  • Ability to write scope of works and Employer requirements technical documents for roads and utilities works
  • Review construction documents and highlight any design discrepancies from standards/best practice/systems suitability
  • Work with PMCM and CS consultants and manage their technical work input / deliverables
  • Work with Consultants from the client to review earthworks, roads, drainage networks and water supply systems/solutions proposed
  • Familiarity with structural design of industrial buildings is an added plus
  • Ensure that the consultants and contractors coordinate with all concerned authorities, departments, and ensure that their requirements are adequately and satisfactorily incorporated
  • Participate where needed in authorities interfacing to facilitate process, suggest intermediate solutions

  • Data analysis and report writing skills
  • Ability to engage in technical discussion and run meetings with engineers and contractors
  • Familiar with international and local civil standards

Qualifications:


  • University Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Member of a professional body as a certified civil/structural engineer
  • No less than 20 years experience in design and construction roles, including at least 10 years in senior/managerial roles
