What you will be doing:
You will be responsible for driving strong financial performance atthe hotel.
We look to the person in this position to deliversuperior financial performance, ensure operational efficiencies,implement effective financial controls, and put in place practical,non-bureaucratic policies and procedures.
– Lead thefinancial input into the formulation and implementation of theHotel Strategic Plan and Budget, and any other key financialstrategic planning exercises.
– Establish and maintainadequate controls for all revenues and expenses and protection ofassets. – Ensure compliance with all applicable financialregulations and reporting requirements. – Manage thehotel's cash flow, ensuring sufficient liquidity to meetfinancial obligations.– Prepare detailed operating andcapital budgets, accurately forecasting revenue and expenses andmonitor actual performance against budgets and identify areas forimprovement.
– Generate timely and accurate financialreports and conduct financial analyses to identify trends, risks,and opportunities. – Lead and manage the finance team,providing guidance, training, and performance management. Foster acollaborative and results-oriented work environment. –Maintain an awareness of and adherence to all applicable laws,rules, and regulations. – Ensure safe and proper storageand access for all contracts, leases and other financial records.Requirements Qualifications Your experience and skills include:
– Degree in Finance, Accounting, and/or HospitalityManagement – Minimum of 5-10 years' experiencein a similar or finance leadership role – Proficiency infinancial software and tools, such as financial modelling,budgeting, and reporting software – OASYS, OPERA, FMCetc. is required – The ability to lead, motivate, anddevelop a high-performing team is paramount – Excellentpresentation and communication skills, both written andverbal
