- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements,including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flowstatements.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances,and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide regular financialreports to the business owner for informed decisionmaking. 2.
- Collaborate with the business owner todevelop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor actualfinancial performance against budgeted figures, highlighting anydiscrepancies and proposing corrective actions.
- Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuringtimely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expenses.
- Manage accounts receivable to ensure proper invoicing, accuraterecording of revenue, and timely collections. 4.
- Track and analyze costs related to catering businessoperations, including food, beverages, staffing, and overheadexpenses.
- Identify costsaving opportunities and operationalefficiencies while maintaining highquality service. 5.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and catering teams tomanage inventory levels, minimizing waste and optimizing stocklevels.
- Perform regular inventory reconciliations to ensureaccurate accounting of supplies. 6.
- Work closely with the business owner, to ensuresmooth financial operations.
- Provide financial insights andrecommendations to support strategic decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA) is preferredbut not mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience inthe restaurant or catering industry.
- Strong proficiency inaccounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of accountingprinciples, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effectivecollaboration.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and a high level ofintegrity in handling financial data.
