- Develop and improve internal audit and risk assessmentmethodologies to enhance audit efficiency.
- Provideadvice and council to executive leadership and department head oninitiatives to improve the internal control environment and riskmanagement of the company.
- Drive Audit Strategy andcontinuous improvement.
- Contribute to aligning internalaudit function to the strategic objectives of Qatar Airways Group.
- Establishing and applying the expert knowledge in atleast one of the core audit domains (audit, IT audit, forensics,data analytics and robotics).
- Provide independentassessment to the management of risks in the organization bymanaging and directing audits across QR Group and subsidiaries.
- Review audit assignments to ensure relevance of findingsand value addition from recommendations.
- Establish andoversee follow-up mechanism to ensure audit assignment andrecommendations are closed in a timely manner, and report into SVPIA on as needed basis.
- Provide inputs on annual auditplan to SVP IA by identifying changes and new areas of risk
- Participate and lead if needed, the preparation based ofthe audit universe and annual audit plan in liaison with SVP IA
- Coordinate with senior executives in case ofinvestigations. Set plans, gather and analyse the evidence.
- Execute approved annual audit plan & identifynew key risks and confirming existing risks.
- Lead andguide, as appropriate, on special projects, ad hoc assignments orinvestigations. Qualifications About You Essential
- Relevant College or University qualification to minBachelor's level
- Relevant professionalqualification (CA, ACCA, CPA & CIA)
- Minimum 10years relevant experience
- Experience at a manageriallevel
- Knowledge of complex processes.
- Experience in managing different audit team and multitasking.
- Command of English language.
- Goodcommunicator with superb listening skills.
- Ability tospeak in public and communicate with senior management.
- Strong business acumen.
