    Description:
    This program is modernizing the DMV applications and business processes.

    The Business Analyst will be responsible for development of business requirements, test plans, test scripts and assisting with maintenance of project management tracking.


    • This individual will be knowledgeable in all aspects of business analysis, testing and has a basic understanding of project management and system development life cycle as well as porting efforts from legacy applications to new solutions.
    • The individual must have proven experience with enterprise level development projects.
    • The Business Analyst will work closely with NCDOT's Program Manager in assisting with solution documentation and project management tools to meet State
      ITrequirements.

    Role responsibilities:

    • Analyze, define, and document requirements for work flow and business processes
    • Document the projects and project deliverables as assigned
    • Work with the PMO Manager, Project Manager, Business Customer and project team
    • Develop and document test plans, scenarios and scripts
    • Analyze and estimate feasibility and compatibility with other programs and projects
    • Consult with users to prototype, refine, test, and debug solution to meet Change Management needs
    • Provide quality control for project deliverables Required Skills : Skill : Required / Desired :
    • Experience in business process analysis, requirements development, testing and documentation :7 Years
    • Experience working at Program level and coordination of deliverables across multiple projects that make up the program : 5 Years
    • Working knowledge of application development life cycle : 5 Years
    • Strong analytical and conceptual skills : 5 Years
    • Working knowledge of business improvement process and industry best practices : Highly desired : 5 Years
    • Microsoft Suite experience (e.g, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) : Required : 5 Years
    • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills : Required : 7 Years
    • Excellent organizational and presentation skills : Required : 5 Years
    • Demonstrated experience gathering and conducting business analysis for a major business application porting effort from one platform to another : Required : 5
