    Purpose You will providemechanical engineering services on large or mega projects toWorley' and its customers', including technicalsupport and supervision within the mechanical engineering team.

    Responsibilities Manage mechanical engineering services that meetWorley', its customers' and applicable statutoryand regulatory specifications, on time and within budget. Managemechanical engineering project requirements.


    Manage mechanicalengineering services such as:
    + participate in relevant meetings,prepare progress reports and comply with required checkingprocedures; + ensure the project scope is clear and that changescomply with project change management processes; + provide adviceduring procurement, construction and commissioning activities. Forexample, oversee requisitions, technical bid evaluations andpurchase order preparation. Act as the mechanical engineering Leadon specific projects.


    If responsible for a team:
    + outline projectrequirements including actively promoting workshare, whereappropriate, assign tasks and supervise progress; and + ensure therequired services meet Worley, its customers and applicablestatutory and regulatory requirements, on time and within budget.
    Proactively resolve any discrepancies between Worley and itsCustomer's requirements. Keep up-to-date with the latestdevelopments and technical innovations in mechanical engineering.
    If required, assist and support junior personnel within themechanical engineering team. Communicate effectively with themechanical engineering team and project stakeholders, including theCustomer. Identify issues and problems, develop appropriatesolutions, and ask for assistance when required.

    Technical andIndustry Experience Excellent technical and practical engineeringskills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate andtimely work to Worley and its clients.

    Excellent knowledge of thefundamental requirements of the mechanical engineering, and thebasic requirements of other engineering fields. Excellent knowledgeof applicable local and international standards and statutory andregulatory specifications. Competent use of relevant software suchas MS Office Suite and mechanical engineering specific software.

    Extensive technical and practical experience in mechanicalengineering in the same or similar industry including experience inworking in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.

    A recognized andrelevant engineering degree. Chartered Professional Engineer(CPEng) status. Relevant postgraduate qualifications inengineering; management, project management or supervisoryqualifications or equivalent. Moving forwardtogether
