X-ray Security Screener, Hamad International Airport Qatar
I am responsible for access control management, detection of prohibited items from passenger baggages, prevention of entry of prohibited items into the aircraft, conducting ETD traces on selected passengers and their baggages, protection of people’s lives and properties, offering basic first aid and CPR in cases of emergencies, report writing, customer service, vigilance and crime deterrence, Fire warden/Marshal/Fire prevention.

2015 - 2017
Programs Coordinator, Social, Health and Environmental Sustainability Organization Kampala 
While here I was responsible for program management, supervising students on placement, carrying out assessments, screening and enrolment of vulnerable children for support and sensitizing children, guardians/parents and other stakeholders about children’s rights. Among other duties I conducted homes and schools’ visits to children to monitor their wellbeing, planned and made sectional work plans for program activities and   
Served 4,000 orphans and other vulnerable children in different Core Program Areas including Economic strengthening, food and Nutrition, health, shelter, water, hygiene and sanitation, psychosocial support, legal and child protection as well as education.  
Promoted children welfare/standard of living by linking children to access HIV services from different facilities. This facilitated access to the necessities that they could not afford.  
Participated in psychosocial support activities e.g. Friends Forum and other peer groups. This helped to build and strengthened children confidence / self-esteem which enabled them to identify their different potentials for a better transformation.
Promoted child protection / security through reporting child abuse cases incidents in line with child protection policy. This called for corresponding actions by law thus encouraging a child violence free life in the community.
Supported the monitoring and evaluation of organization performance by carrying out monthly updating OVC registers daily, staff supervision, data collection, analysis and reporting on various program activities. This provided information about areas that need improvement therefore enabling better resource utilization i.e. time, human resources etc. This also promoted organization efficiency as it supported proper resource utilization and accountability based on information presented.
Supported effective communication through preparation of monthly and quarterly donor reports. This provided full accountability of food distribution, economic strengthening and school fees resulting from donor funding thus a good relationship was maintained between the organization and its donors.
Initiated 2 efficient new programs through which the organization was able to secure funding from the local government for the smooth-running of program of activities such as economic strengthening that involved the distribution of handouts to the care givers hence boosting up their businesses and also the save to study program that enabled low income parents support their children in schools and also reduced number of OVCs to be supported by the organization with school fees. 
Developed a reporting and data collection tool. This provided data for report writing using the designed tools and also staff time management was monitored which created accountability and enough value for organization money.
Completed and accurately filled the data collection tools. This provided reliable data/information for informed decision making. 
Supported in the research process by pre-testing tools for data collection and determined the sampling frame in for research.  This is an internal control measure that provided assurance that data collected is complete and accurate for planning and decision making.

2011 - 2015
Volunteer/Social Worker, Reach out Mbuya Parish HIV/AIDS Initiative Kampala
In this role, it was my responsibility to sensitize the community about prevention and control of HIV/AIDS and STDs my duties were; monthly data collection and reporting, conducting home and school visits , monitoring clients with IGA (income generating activities) under the Economic strengthening program, writing reports and fund requests to donors. 
Participated in household assessments of vulnerable children thus provided career guidance and counseling of children both on site and at school. 
Supported the verification and analysis of data through assessment of 300 households for social support where 170 households were identified as vulnerable and qualifying for social support. This enabled the organization to scale up on its funding opportunities since the target figures were reached and also there was enough OVC data to be sent to the national OVC database.
Monitored OVC performance through school visits as150 OVCs were followed up with discipline and academic performance issues as well as their general welfare. OVC general performance and discipline improved and also the organization was able to identify gaps between teachers and students which hindered their general welfare and performance in schools.
Mobilized 500 OVCs for the children Christmas party and 300 community members for HIV counseling and testing. This increased OVC funding where by the donors and organization registered a success of the program since 600 OVCs were registered instead.
Supported community sensitization through a reach out to 500 community members with reproductive health information. This promoted community awareness about HIV as a total of 502 community members turned up for HIV counseling and testing and the organization also registered figures for reporting purposes.
Promoted village savings and loans association through scaling up savings activities in community. 150 women saving groups were started up as well as trained with business skills, 60 income generating activities were started up by household heads in the community and the organization. This reduced in numbers of OVCs to fund for school fees since some of these parents were in position to meet the basic scholastic needs.
