• Establish and ensure implementation of the HSE Management System on the all Phases (Engineering, Procurement, Construction).
• Preparing, Manage communication of RSMS and implementation of HSE plans,policies and procedures.
• Assist and coordinate with the Project Manager and all personnel assigned to the project in establishing an overall ProjectHSE.
• Advise, guide and support construction team the implementation of Health & Safety practices both on site and withinthe office environment.
• Ensure that appropriate Health and Safety training is delivered and Ensure that training recordsare maintained.
• Support discipline Engineers, Supervisors, Foreman for performing theirjob Safely.
• To work with the sub-contractors to ensure they are continually improving their QHSE approach and systems on projects to reduce accidents.
• To work with other departments within the MEP main contractor and sub- contractors inand sharing best practice.
• To identify, develop, and improve procedures and systems for the section, department.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
• Coordinate and Communicate with Consultant on Project HSE issues.
• Act as an internal focal point and subject matter expert for all Health & Safety related matters identifying trends, vulnerabilities, and liabilities that necessary corrective actionsand measures.
• Check safety requirements in the MethodStatements and continuous monitoring of the implementation duringconstruction.
• Conduction of MASS TBT on site to workers and staff, and giving the inhouse trainings to operatives and staff for assigned activities
• Manage, obtain, and maintain equipment data and systems information including manufacturer's,engineering, design, fabrication, inspection, testing and maintenance repairs records that will provide current and accurate information for training, planning,evaluation and analysis.
• Provide the project with health and safety expertise and ensures the project complies with corporate SH&E requirements.
• Check, inspect and ensure that all equipment has been tested by third parties as requiredand all operators have the proper permits.
