A growthstage FinTech start-up with presence across 19 countries in Africais seeking a Chief Financial Officer who will be responsible forall the company s financial strategy, operations and will be athought partner to the CEO for strategic decisions and forsupporting the company in getting more operationally efficient.This role will be part of the senior management team. It willreport to the CEO and will work closely with the co-founders of thebusiness.
The idealcandidate will come with experience leading and growing thefinancial aspects of a business with an in-depth understanding ofgrowth metrics, fast growth and scalability.You ll be obsessed with financial performance,including operational efficiency and also passionate about buildingteams and people success. Implementing finance and accountingprocedures for a group of companies covering multiple jurisdictionsas well as having a good understanding of International tax regimesand can oversee their compliance in relation to Payroll, VAT,Income tax, will be key to success in thisrole.

Lead and developthe financial team: coach, mentor and guide by being a culturechampion and driving excellence within the finance team and acrossthecompany
