    • Builds positive workingrelationships with external parties such as the customer,suppliers, and contractors.
    • Supports proposalsby developing the discipline execution strategy, estimating costs,writing proposal content, and presenting tocustomers.
    • Ensures discipline technical workand team activities meet all health, safety, environmental, andsecurity requirements
    • Provide specialisttechnical support, supervision and advice to the discipline andproject teams; participate in peerreviews;
    • Ensures recognised offshoreengineering practices applicable to Electrical design engineeringare adopted within the discipline.
    • Initiate,manage and supervise engineering assignments on projects that meetproject requirements on time and withinbudget.
    • Organise and manage all aspects of theworkload of a team of Electrical discipline engineers anddesigners, within the parameters of a projectschedule.
    • Understands and applies the ProjectExecution Plan (PEP) requirements - make-up and application(including the Engineering Plan).
    • Lead theproduction of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data,calculations and reports
    • Focuses team onachievement of milestones and other key projectobjectives.
    • Quality Assurance – workwithin the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurancesystems.
    • Safety – responsible forpersonal safety and working within the Occupational Health& Safety procedures

    Job SpecificKnowledge

    • Development of Single lineprotection, control and metering diagrams for 220 kV GISSubstation, 66 kV GIS switchgear, 11kV switchgear/Motor control,415 switchgear/MCC with automatic bus transferscheme.
    • Prepare detail design packagesincluding detailed AC and DC schematic, Wiring diagrams, Equipmentlayout, Cable and Panel Schedules, Interconnections, Power,Grounding and lighting layouts.
    • Conducted,reviewed and issued Power System Load Flow, Short Circuit studies,Protection Coordination. Used voltage drop, equipment sizing,lighting Calculations and cablesizing.
    • Extensive knowledge of internationalstandards and theirapplicability.
