    • Ensures that inbound and outboundconsignments are processed efficiently in accordance to agreedcustomer service level agreements and customs documentationrequirements.
    • Key Roles &Responsibilities:
    • Assist Logistics Coordinatorto convey importers and exporters the federal regulations forsending and receiving goods to and fromoverseas.
    • Inform Logistics Coordinator aboutcustoms regulations, shipping restriction, international tariffs,and insurance requirements
    • Perform andimplement all custom clearance activities such as followingupcoming Shipment, documents transactions and day-to-day relatedactivities in accordance with the objectives, policies andprocedures
    • Participate in the development ofthe Custom Clearance Section's work plan and preparing workschedules and expediting work flow to improve efficiency of theCustom Clearance Section
    • Coordinate with theClearing Agents and prepare supporting documents required forclearance such as B/Gs, shipping guarantees requisitions and ensureon time submittal and follow up for immediateclearance.
    • Confirm vessels arrival time toOperation department for payment purposes and release paymentrequisitions for CAD shipments to guarantee availability ofshipping documents prior to vesselsarrival.
    • Prepare periodic reports with respectto Custom Clearance Section's activities and achievementsto be submitted to the Support Services SectionHead
    • Prepare and confirm all import permitsfrom the Government Authorities plus any and all import customexemption documents, formats and formalities corroborated that anyand all of our inbound shipments are cleared within the given graceperiod offered by the sea ports, in order to not incur penaltypayments
