    bout thisrole:

    This role in ResearchMethodologies & Architecture team focusses onGartner's User-sourced content. The person is responsiblefor conducting market research activities that ensure appropriatevendor to market alignment of Gartner's Peer Insightsmarkets. High reliability of market alignment is necessary forquality assurance of data that feeds into content deliverables andend user experience.

    Whatyou'll do :

    • Support analysts in creating MarketDefinitions and guidance of best practices outlined byMethodologies.
    • Conduct market research ofvendors and products researchto:
    • Evaluate vendors fitto a market (leveraging existingcriteria)
    • Determine veracity of vendor/productname change requests
    • Validate merger &acquisition activities of major technologyvendors
    • Maintain audit trail of marketalignment activities, results of market research activities, andcorrespondence with analysts, in a centralized location availableto be accessed by stakeholders
    • Monitorpublication dates of Gartner Magic Quadrant and Market Guides, andchanges to markets (new, rename, retire, merge, etc.); communicatechanges to internal stakeholders to drive consistency with PeerInsights markets, and other researchlinkages.
