    Primary purpose ofjob
    The Senior Operations Engineer providescritical support to well services offshore operations as he/shecoordinates with all

    QatarEnergy teams to gathertheir requirements through routine & nonroutine meetingsprepares weekly quarterly and

    yearly plans forbarges and vessels prepares operations programs ensures HSEcompliance in work programs and

    providesengineering support to operations team as and whenrequired.

    PrincipalAccountabilities:

    1. Coordinating the overalloffshore well service planning from all stakeholders (such as WellSurveillance Well

    Integrity Wellhead operationsProduction etc) to ensure an optimum & efficient activityplan under well services scope in

    accordancewith the company policies & guidelines. Gather consolidatedSOW for execution by Well Services Operations

    team. Review well history and reports and advise for appropriateaction plans to mitigate integrity and operationalrisks.

    2. Implement best practices within theorganization and ensure continuous improvement based on lessonslearned and

    manage the implementation of trialsto test new well services technologies and techniques supplied byvarious contractors

    to find fitforpurposesolutions for offshore wells.

    3. Prepare wellservices operations business plans (Weekly Monthly Quarterly) basedon wells priority and operations

    criticality asadvised by stakeholders.

    4. Provide engineeringsupport to Well Services Operations team and ensure smooth and safeworkflow. Ensure that all

    well services programsare prepared in accordance with the requirements of the DrillingReference Manual (DRM) and by

    identifying andmitigating risks through a systematic hazard management approach incompliance to QatarEnergy HSE

    policy.

    5. Develop performance managementinitiatives for well services activities and ensure KPI inputs aregathered

    evaluated and reported. Also preparethe well services scope budget forecast and actualutilization.

    6. Initiate and participate in wellservices contract tenders and technical evaluation tillaward.

    7. Monitor the validation of field datagathered and integrity of data entered into the open welldatabase.

    8. Maintain contact with industry onwell services issues to ensure QatarEnergy well services operationsare aligned

    with current industry bestpractices. Including implement new technologies within wellservices department and provide

    detailedtechnical reports upon completion.

    9.Investigate operational problems and analyze root causes to cureand prevent their reoccurrences. Alsoparticipate

    in studies addressing specificoperational integrity and well services problems and prepareappropriate recommendations /

    action plan forthe proposedsolution.

    10.Develop and mentor Qatari development staff in the petroleumengineering skills related to well servicesthrough

    office/wellsite assignments trainingsand presentations to help achieve QatarEnergy Corporate objectivesfor Qatarization.

    He/she is responsible toensure availability of services contracts maintains and monitorsKPI compliance data leads audits

    and exploresnew technologies to enhance operational performance and maintainsDRM procedures in compliance with

    industrystandards.

    Experience &Skills
    Minimum 15 years experienced in variouswell servicing activities such as slickline/wireline coiled tubingwell
    integrity stimulation & wellcompletion.

    • Indepth knowledge of oilindustry practices and specification such as API standards andrecommended practices.
    • Must have strongteamwork skills and being able to work in a multiculturalenvironment.
    • Must be able to communicateeffectively with peers field staff andManagement.
    • Strong leadership and peoplemanagement skills.

    Education
    Bachelors degree in PetroleumEngineering or equivalent supplemented with industry courses inrelated software
    applications.
