    To act in accordance with, drive, and further the aims set out inthe claims vision: to continually push the boundaries of customerexcellence through an empowered, collaborative and innovativeapproach to claims; to be the envy of the market , alwaysdemonstrating and upholding the company claimsvalues.

    Overviewofrole:

    To report to the Claims Manager, on claims handling (all lines) andproactively provide administrative assistance to the team aswell.
    To continuously look for better ways of doing things and to suggestprocess or other enhancements, whereappropriate.
    Contribute to project work, whenrequired.
    To develop a thorough understanding of the underwriting and claimsportfolio across the classes ofbusiness.
    To be the main contact point between WNS (fyi : a global businessprocess management firm based in India) and the other internalstakeholders on the administrative tasks,including:

    • Providing policy references, insured names etc.
    to WNS for claimregistration.

    • Advising WNS on the right DOL (fyi : Date Of Loss) in the event ifthe loss date falls out of the policy period (if loss is tagged todeclaration period instead of policyperiod)
    • Providing payment instructions toWNS
    • For cases where we are unable to locate the claim file, to checkwith WNS on claim reference.
    If WNS has missed out onregistration

    To assist in information exchange with Underwriters,including:

    • Seeking underwriters advice when we are unable to locate the rightpolicy orinsured
    • Checking on the correct declarationyear
    • Compiling claimsstatistics
    • Reconciling claims data provided by underwriters with that on oursystems
    • Discussion with the underwriters on claims issues (ifrequired)
    Assist with tasks that involve the Finance function, suchas:

    • Booking of entries in Subscribe (fyi :software)
    • Advising Finance if there are issues on the PRF (fyi : PaymentRequest Form)template
    Attending to instructions in accordance with the company ClaimsManual, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met, and thatcontrols are operating effectively by achievingKPIs
    Quantitative reporting e.g., running reports on systems oranswering queries related to systems generatedreports.
    Attend technical meetings regarding any updates/processes withregards to company s internal systems.

    Skillsandexperience:

    Experience inExcel;
    Display excellent communication, organisational and interpersonalskills;
    Experience in claimshandling
    Excellent attention todetail;
    Enjoy working with numbers;and
    Good problem-solvingSkills
    Customer focused and understanding servicedelivery
    Work collaboratively and be a teamplayer.
