    The QatarMobility Innovations Center (QMIC confidential Doha Qatar invitesapplications for AI & Data Engineer tojoin our technology & applied research department and workon cuttingedge AIprojects.

    JOBRESPONSIBILITIES:

    Themain responsibilities of the AI & Data Engineer include butnot limitedto:

    • Collaboratewith data scientists and business stakeholders to understandproject requirements and define predictive orgenerative AIsolutions.
    • Design and develop machine learningmodels algorithms and neural networks for data analysis predictionand decisionmaking.
    • Collect preprocess andanalyze large datasets to train and validate AImodels.
    • Implement predictive and LLMbased AIsolutions using programming languages (such as Python) and machinelearning frameworks (such as PyTorch TensorFlow orscikitlearn).
    • Optimize and finetune AI modelsfor performance scalability andaccuracy.
    • Deploy AI models into productionenvironments ensuring stability reliability andsecurity.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performanceof deployed models and iterate onimprovements.
    • Collaborate with softwareengineers to integrate AI capabilities into existing or newsoftware systems.
    • Stay updated with the latestadvancements in predictive/generative AI and machine learningresearch and apply relevant techniques to solve businesschallenges.
    • Document and communicate AIsolutions methodologies and best practices to technical andnontechnicalstakeholders.

    JOBQUALIFICATIONS:

    Theapplicant should hold a Bachelors or masters degree in ComputerScience Engineering Data Science Applied Mathematics or a relatedfield. He/she should have the followingskills:

    • Atleast 2 years of relevant experience in data science / AIprojects
    • Very good knowledge of a variety ofmachine learning techniques (clustering decision tree learningartificial neural networks etc.) and their realworldadvantages/drawbacks
    • Strong Knowledge ofadvanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression propertiesof distributions statistical tests and proper usage etc.) andexperience with applications
    • Strong Knowledgeof neutral networksbased architectures: CNN RNN GAN RLetc.
    • Strong proficiency in NLP/LLM and theability to implement NLP techniqueseffectively.
    • Knowledge of Deep learningframeworks: PyTorch Tensorflow Kerasetc.
    • Previous experience in applying deeplearning techniques for at least two different types of data(structured data text images videos speech/audio etc.) is animportant asset
    • Solid handson experience indevelopment debugging and troubleshooting software andsystems
    • Previous experience with some datavisualization frameworks and tools: Tableau Google chartsetc.
    • Very good Knowledge and experience inPython to manipulate data and draw insights from large data setsand build data models
    • Knowledge of geospatialanalytics is desirable
    • Prior industrialexperience is an asset
    • Capability to workautonomously and effectively in an asynchronous workenvironment.
    • Strong problemsolving skills andability to troubleshoot technicalissues.
    • Excellent written and verbalcommunication skills for coordinating across teams and createcomprehensive and clear technicaldocumentation.
