    Our client in the Steel industry is seekingexpertise of a Media and Relations Officer to join their operationsin Qatar. The position demands for having a sound knowledge inmaintaining the positive image of a company, or, organization,internally and externally.

    The position in its individual capacitymust execute PR & Communications projects in a defined wayto achieve the goal and achieve the target.

    The purpose of thisrole is to coordinate and deliver resources and processes insupport of media and communication in line with brand guidelinesand business objectives.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Universitygraduate or masters with proficient knowledge in media andcommunications.
    • 7-8 years of experience in similar role.
    • Must understand the business goal, Mission, Vision andValues and be conducive to present and maintain brand imageinternally and externally within the stakeholders.
    • Goodunderstanding of Qatar and GCC culture and working environment. KeyResponsibilities
    • Co-ordination with media houses/editorsto facilitate in publishing advertisement and press release onspecified date and on specified pages (or sections).
    • Development of contents for print and social media to enhancevisibility and dispersion of messages consistently to maintain thebrand image; developing contents for press is important.
    • Upgrade contents for SM and website from time to time
    • Toparticipate in all events organised locally and internationally.
    • Achieve space booking in strategic location, mobilisestand design using external design agencies and ensure desirablestandards in design, branding and media coverage.
    • Todraft, review and update the PR&C Policy and Proceduresbefore its expiry.
    • To continuously look for theopportunities to enhance the brand image through the process ofbranding and its application in various areas like, vehicle,events, gifts, stationery, print and digital media, social media,office PC's, telephone screens, and in wayfindingsignage.
