    • Works independently withinestablished marine procedures, plans and budgets and contributes tothe development of these deliverables.
    • MonitorsContractor's marine performance and ensure specifications/ approved procedures are followed.
    • Undertakescomplex marine tasks and acts as Person in Charge for projectconstruction & installation teams and coordinates withinternal customers e.g., Marine, Operations on all marinematters.
    • Assists Project Management withplanning, procedure review and technical support of marineexecution matters. Ensures that any issues evaluated duringHAZID/HIRA processes, or that are raised during safety meetings,are closed prior to the start of work. Takes initiatives, based onexperienced gained, to deliver timely and cost-effectiveservice.
    • Works effectively within establishedprocedures or creates and endorses new marine procedures asnecessary to further develop the Project Managementphilosophy.
    • Acts as Company Site Representativeor Marine Specialist as directed by Management onboard Jack-UpBarges, construction barges/vessels (heavy lift, pipelay,workboats) and transportation vessels to supervise movement andmooring of these marine vessels during field execution. Performsmarine inspection prior tomobilization.
    • Attends vessel safety meetingsand toolbox talks to ensure there is a clear understanding of themarine activities that are to be performed. Relays all relevantSafety Alerts with the Contractor and the Vessel ManagementTeam.
    • Conducts marine equipment audits ensuringall relevant certification and audits are up to date and that anyclose-out actions from audits have been carried out. ReviewsContractors personnel certifications andqualifications.
