HydraulicTechnician
JobPurpose:
To work effectivelyas part of a team to service, repair and maintain offshore Companyequipment by working closely with the Engineering department.Carrying out repairs, maintenance and upgrades of hydraulicsequipment will be an integral part of therole.
KeyResponsibilities:
Duties:
Check, service,repair and maintain all Companyequipment.
Inspect andassess the hydraulic systems to determine the requirements forrefurbishment, replacement, orrepair.
Repair orreplace defective and/or worn parts andcomponents.
Attend dailysitebriefings.
Generateaccurate Engineer Inspection reports of assets andequipment.
Log and reportinformation in the maintenance jobsheets.
Providetechnical advice and assistance to alldepartments:
Liaise withEngineering Department to obtain necessary information to assistand build new equipment asrequired.
Liaise withother departments to promote suitable improvements to the process,assets, andequipment.
Instruct sitebased operational staff on the correct use and operation of anasset.

HSEQ ensuremaintenance requirements are fully understoodby:
Following allCompany and HSEprocedures
Addressing anyconcerns and taking appropriate actions in conjunction withCompanyprocedures
Attendingmonthly safety meetings with HSEQpersonnel
Out of HoursMaintenance/Process SupportAssistance:
Provide back-upassistance to other Maintenance personnel by mobile phone asrequired.
Offshore/Oversees ProcessSupport supporting offshoreoperations
Travellingoffshore to check, service & repair equipment asrequired.
Be prepared toundertake medicals, vaccinations and training as required foroffshore travel.
Requirements
Experience(s)(E Essential / PPreferred):
Minimum 3 ormore years of total work experience in relevant field(E)
Working withinthe oil & gas or energy industries(P)
Servicing& maintaining hydraulic and mechanical equipment/machinery(E)
Preventive,predictive and corrective mechanical maintenance(E)
Ability to workwell with staff at all Nationalities and levels(E)
Maintenance andoverhauling of Centrifugal Pumps. (Single stage &multistage)(P)
Designing andbuilding hydraulic circuitry(P)
Working withprocess equipment / heavy plant machinery(P)
Working withinthe oil & gas or energy industries(P)
