    Our client has an immediate opening for anWMSApplication SupportSpecialist for an established and growingstate-of-the art warehouse and distribution facility and truckingcompany working with products that require specialhandling.

    The individual in this role willsupport the warehouse managementsystem (Tecsys), inventory software managementsystem, as well as working with SQLqueries, and Cognos report writer.

    In your day-to-day role youwill:

    • Maintainwarehouse management systems uptime at each of the userterminals.
    • Write SQL queries to pull andcreate customized reports and use SQLscripting to extract data from databases.
    • Usea reporting system for report writing such asCognos.
    • Take ownership andresponsibility of queries, issues and problems assigned to thequeue.
    • Utilize SOAP to perform someintegrations to the web portal.
    • Supportapplication support queries and issues reported to and escalated tothe Desktop Support onsite teams.
    • Familiarizeend users with software, systems, and databaseoperations.
    • Complete regular training andprocess refreshes to ensure you are always compliant to SOP s andprocesses to maintain security and consistent services.
    • Assist in preparing systems for upgrades.
    • Manage ticketing systems and resolve tickets.
    • Develop a detailed efficiency reporting system usingCognos and SQL to provide executive teams insight into currentproductivity information and goals progress.

    This requires:

    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshootingskills, hands-on problem-solving ability.
    • Theability to communicate technical information in an accessiblemanner to non-technical employees.
    • Softwaremaintenance and testing capability.
    • Knowledgeof scripting languages

    What do you need tobring?

    • 2+ years ofeither a Warehouse Managment System orInventory Management system.
    • 2+ years of ITSoftware Support/Application Support experience.
    • Able to perform SQL queriesand work with Cognos.
    • Some experience withSOAP integration.
    • 2-3 years experience working with customers either faceto face or remote setting.
    • Bachelors/Associates degree in Information Technology or related area orwork experience.
    • Strong customer servicefocus.
    • Ability to effectively prioritize andexecute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
    • Collaborative mindset.

    Days/ Hours:

    Monday Friday, 10 a.m. 7 p.m.
