    Seeking Medicaid Eligibilityand Enrollment (E&E) Subject Matter Expert (SME) will workwith the Division of Medicaid (DOM) E&E team on procuring,implementing, upgrading, and maintenance of the DOM E&Esystems.

    TheE&E SME will:
    -Review andcomment on project deliverables for completeness and content asassigned
    -Participates in JointApplication Design (JAD) sessions, Detailed Designed reviews, Agilesessions, project status meetings and any other Medicaid projectmeetings as necessary.
    -Assistwith tracking identified issues and verifying resolution.
    -Work with the SystemsIntegrator and DOM Project Management to meet Medicaid Enrollmentand Eligibility Outcome Based Certification asneeded.
    -Provide technicalexpertise to procurement, implementations, upgrades, and thecontinuous maintenance of the E&Esystems;
    -Assist in theintegration of the E&E with other internal and externalsystems, services, and tradingpartners;
    -Work to develop anddocument strategies to utilize standards for the integration with,and operation of, the E&Esystems;
    -Assist in thedevelopment of requirements for procurement of the E&E,E&E components, and related E&E services, tools,etc.
    -Assist in development oftest cases used for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for changes inthe E&E systems and related modules as well as assist inthe UAT as needed by performing tests, analyzing and documentingdefects and issues
    -Work withother State of Mississippi Agencies and programs to ensure datafreely flows between associated systems andservices;
    -Document and reportstatus, opportunities, findings, and risks to DOM management aswell as State and federal partners (Centers for Medicare andMedicaid Services, CMS), etc.
    Workclosely with the DOM E&E project team on the technical andoperational aspects of the DOME E&E and related systems(Enterprise Service Bus, ESB,etc.).

    Requirements

    Required:
    • 4+years experience with Eligibility systems, tools, andservices
    • 3years of working on IT projects that have critical timelines anddeadlines and working with vendors to achieve these milestones asmuch as possible. Must have ability to adapt and overcomechallenges of tightschedules.
    • 2years experience facilitating meetings and discussions with bothtechnical and non-technicalstaff
    • 1years experience with E&E rules, requirements, andstandards, such as the Affordable Care Act, the Centers forMedicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Modified Adjusted GrossIncome (MAGI) and non-MAGI Medicaid, Qualified Health Plans,Advance Premium Tax Credit (APTC),etc.
    • 1years experience with technical integration of E&E systemswith other payer and trading partner IT systems, including usingstandards-based Application Programming Interfaces(APIs)
    Preferred:
    • 3years experience working with E&E systems that utilize anEnterprise Service Bus(ESB)
    • 3years of documenting and reporting project status and risks tomanagement
    • 2years experience with identity resolution systems, such as a MasterPerson Index(MPI)
    • Knowledgeof other State benefit programs (WIC, SNAP,etc.)
