We re seeking aqualified Physician Liaison medical practice representative forbusiness development to lead cultivation of new, untapped businessopportunities and help our practice connect with local referringmedical provider and business network relationships. This candidatewill also supplement our current office manager in some practicemanagement responsibilities after 2:30 pm. The ideal candidate willbe trusted to dive right in, take the lead, use initiative, andhelp build a thriving medical practice. Highly skilled at sales andbusiness operations, this person will join and inspire a team oflike-minded go-getters to achieve our companyvision.

    Objectivesof thisrole:

    • Manageboth our existing sales pipeline and the development of newbusiness opportunities.
    • Meet withreferring medical providers and business relationships to discusspatient care, referrals, and new treatments, and thank them forexisting referrals
    • Engage and targetreferring providers and practices to build lasting and robustpatient referral relationships. These patient referralrelationships improve patient care but grow and scale the referringpractice.
    • Evaluate and help ViveWellmeet the needs and wants of referringpractices.
    • Take a lead role indeveloping new-business proposals and presentations that create andnurture opportunities andpartnerships
    • Identify trends andcustomer needs, building a sales pipeline for short/medium/longterm in accordance withtargets
    • Develop strategies andpositions by analyzing new-ventureintegration
    • Assist in thecoordination and implementation of marketing strategies, anddelegate tasks to achieve strategicgoals
    • Motivate the team, trackperformance, and reportmetrics

    Responsibilities:

    1. PhysicianLiaison BusinessDevelopment:
    • Visitlocal referring physicians and medical practices with the goal tobuild lucrative referralrelationships.
    • Generate new leads,identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential businessopportunities, select deals in line with strategies, and facilitatepitch logistics
    • Works with medicalpractice and healthcare system and independent medical providers tocreate effective physician referral marketingplans.
    • Meet with local physicians,medical providers, staff members, and referring practice medicalstaff members to build referralrelationships
    • Schedules physicianrelations meetings between providers and healthcareprofessionals
    • Distributes themedical practice marketing collateral and patient referralmaterials
    • Represents medicalpractice and physicians at local healthcare and networkingevents
    • Develops physician relationsmarketing reports including tracking visits and measuring theROI
    • Educates referring medicalpractices on the capabilities of the practice, how they canstreamline the referral process, and provide top-quality care fortheir patients.Lead outbound and inbound marketing initiatives todrive patient growth.
    • Monitor andevaluate industry trends and customer drivers, and meet regularlywith managers and stakeholders to discuss strategy progress andgrowth strategies of themarketing.
    • Manage proposal responseprocess, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, andinputs from various sources
    • Supportdeal structure and pricing with business-value analysis, andnegotiate prices for proactive bids andproposals
    • Maintain and shareprofessional knowledge through education, networking, events, andpresentations
    • Help organize, plan,and host healthcare events for ViveWell.This can include open houses, attend charity eventsrepresenting the medical practice, and more.
    • Participate with mediaadvertising initiatives with coordination and support of ViveWellphysician owner, practice manager and digital marketingteam.

    2)Operations:

    • Collaborateswith leadership team to review and adjust business and clinicaloperations in order to maximize workflow efficiency, staffproductivity, and patientaccess.
    • Regularly meet withleadership team to assess accessibility and efficiency ofoperations to adjust processesaccordingly.
    • Regularly assessesfront desk operations (reception, registration, scheduling,payment, etc.) for accuracy and efficiency and adjusts processesaccordingly.
    • Reviews health recordand customer relationship manager (CRM) processes for opportunitiesfor improvement among physicians and staff; securing necessaryassistance (training, optimization, billing,, etc.) to addressissues.
    • Regularly monitors phonestatistics and performance to identify opportunities forimprovement and implements action plans as necessary with physicianownership.
    • Routinely monitors waittimes (patient access, time-to-appointment, exam room, waitingroom, etc.) and develops plans to address issues with physicianowner, other providers andstaff.

    3)Social MediaMarketing:

    • In-depthknowledge of the patient experience and medical practice is vitalfor directing social mediamarketing.
    • Createoriginal content to attract new patients based on your hands-onexperience and training for both patients and information on whatreferring practices are lookingfor

    4)Quality Improvement:

    • Ensuresthat the service expectations of both internal and externalcustomers are met and/orexceeded.

    5)HumanResources:

    • Collaborateswith physician owner on annual professional performance appraisalsfor support staffteam.
    • Encouragesand supports professional growth and/or staff activities thatdirectly relate to the developmental needs of the practice andstaff.
    • Servesas a role model, mentor, and professional colleague for othermembers of the management team by lending support and sharingopportunities forsuccess.
    • Cultivatesand environment where physicians, Advanced Practice Providers(APPs) and support staff work together as a team to improvepracticeoperations.
    • Regularlysolicits feedback from staff and medical providers on jobsatisfaction and addresses issuesaccordingly.
    • Collaborateswith physician owner to develop action plans to address priorityissues in employeesurveys.

    5)ProgramDevelopment:

    • Participatesin strategic planning for thepractice.
    • Coordinatesthe implementation and integration of new programs and medicalproviders in thepractice.
    • Plansand/or participates in activities in thecommunity.
    • Suggestsopportunities for expansion based on patient population needs,physician referrals or communityaccess.

    6)Direct PatientInteractions

    • Participatesin expediting patient care as necessary, including covering dutiesof medical assistants in times of clinic high volume or employeeabsences.
    • Expressesempathy in patient interactions and focuses on the needs of thepatient, staff, providers, practice and organizationsimultaneously.
    • Promptlyaddresses patient complaints and other patient-relatedissues.
    • Servesas a champion for patientsafety.
    • Communicatesin a competent and effective manner to meet patient and/or familyneeds and regulatory or organizationalrequirements.
    • Collaborateswith multidisciplinary team, the patient, and family to promoteefficient patientcare.
